SOUTH WAZIRISTAN: A terrorist attack from across the Afghan border on two Pakistan Army border posts in South Waziristan Agency was repulsed by troops on Tuesday. According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), three attackers were killed while a number of their accomplices injured during the course of repulsion of the attack. In a similar attack on three Pakistani border posts along Afghan border in first week of March this year, five soldiers of Pakistan Army had lost their lives.
Meanwhile, the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) carried out a search operation in Swat and nabbed a key suspected terrorist. Sources said that CTD conducted search operation in Swat and apprehended suspected terrorist Abdullah. The suspect is said to be involved in setting on fire and looting the house of former district Nazim Jamal Nasir in 2009.
