ISLAMABAD: TFC speeds up intelligence-based operations in Balochistan
“Over the past week, IBOs were carried out under Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad in different areas of Quetta, Kleri Dhal, Dera Bugti, Dasht areas of Balochistan,” the ISPR said.
Security forces through these operations foiled at least one major act of terrorism in Balochistan, according to the ISPR.
“Various suspects were apprehended during these operations … [while] a large cache of arms and ammunition including explosives, IEDs, grenades, rockets, detonators and communication equipment, were also recovered from the terrorists’ hideouts.”
The militants had taken refuge inside a cave for planning, coordination and execution of terrorism in Balochistan, the army had said.
