ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi Saturday appreciated the high morale of aerial defenders of the country and expressed satisfaction over the operational readiness of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF).
The prime minister, who visited the PAF base Mushaf in Sargodha, was briefed about the operational preparedness of the PAF and other contributions of the force, especially during disaster management and relief operations.
Earlier on his arrival at the PAF base, the prime minister was received by Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman.
The prime minister visited newly established Airpower Centre of Excellence (ACE) and attended a briefing on the ongoing exercise Saffron Bandit. Envisioned by the air chief, the ACE is a premier institution, which has been equipped with the state-of-the-art facilities and infrastructure. Besides training the PAF personnel, the institute will also train the combat crew of friendly air forces by conducting multinational training exercises.
