ISLAMABAD: Piles of garbage are visible at sector G-9/1, G-6 and G-7 reflecting the disinterest of authorities and its lazy attitude to address the problem and solve it. Despite having more than 2,000 sanitation workers.
Residents of sectors G-7, G-6 and G-9 have urged CDA to take notice of the unhygienic conditions in their neighborhoods and address open waste bins and dumps.
The residents of these sectors complained that garbage was being openly dumped in these sectors which reflect the absolute negligence of the civic body and spread of certain diseases becomes more effortless, they added while speaking to the media.
When inquired, CDA’s Sanitation Department said that the authority had a schedule for each sector to pick up garbage dumped at designated bins.
