GUJRANWALA: CIA police have claimed to have arrested three accused, including a proclaimed offender (PO) and recovered motorcycles and illegal arms from them.
DSP CIA Imran Abbas Chadhar stated that the proclaimed offender Amjad and his companions Ali Raza and Sadam Hussain were involved in various robberies.
He added that police have recovered ten motorcycles and three pistols from the accused.
Separately, a union council secretary was caught by the anti-corruption team whilehe was receiving bribe from a citizen on Tuesday.
Muhammad Rashid submitted an application to the anti-corruption that Secretary Union Council Siddique Butt is demanding Rs 3000 to issuea divorce certificate. On the application, judicial magistrate Ali Imtiaz, along with the anti-corruption team, raided and held Butt and registered a case against him.
