WASHINGTON: Former First Lady of the United States and Democratic presidential candidate for the upcoming elections has wished success to Pakistan Peoples Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto, saying Bilawal sounded just like his mother. According to reports, former prime minister Yousuf Raza Gillani received a text from Hillary Clinton on Tuesday through which she had conveyed her best wishes to Bilawal. The message read “I just saw Bilalwal Bhutto on TV and he sounds just like his mother. Tell him I said good luck and I hope he achieves the success his mother was trying to achieve.”
Gillani expressed his delight and gratitude for her kind support towards Bilawal and the party. Gillani said he conveyed the message to Bilawal and was very happy to receive such encouragement from the former First Lady.
“You have been a consistent friend of Pakistan and the PPP. We hope to see you become president soon and wish you luck in the upcoming presidential elections,” Gillani replied.
