PESHAWAR: Former Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) member of National Assembly Maulana Abdul Akbar Chitrali has accused Chief Minister Pervez Khattak and District Police Officer (DPO) Chitral of supporting Rasheed, a blasphemy accused.
Addressing a press conference on Saturday, Maulana Akbar Chitrali warned a complete protest against Rasheed for committing blasphemy and those supporting him.
He said Pervez Khattak and DPO Chitral has imposed section 324 in the Chitral to provide protection to Rahseed, adding that people were protesting against the Rasheed when police open fire and arrest many of them. Chitrali alleged that if the provincial government did left the section people across of the district would launch anti government movement.
Maulana Abdula Akbar Chitral demanded from the provincial government to stop the support of a blasphemous and let him arrest and kill before the situation reaching the situation to a boiling.
The two major communities of the Chitral district including Sunni and Ismaili have collectively begun the “Asmat Khatm-i-Nabovat” movement and would not sit idle unless hang alleged blasphemous Rasheed he warned.
